Stepping Stones facilitate a range of group activities across West Dunbartonshire. Groups can be a great way to receive peer support and self manage your own health and wellbeing. Many of our groups are Peer lead and can provide wonderful opportunities to form community connections and friendships.

Once the referral for groups is received support staff will talk to the person about their support needs. Support staff will discuss the group activities, appropriateness of the group and help to identify any support needs.

You can find out more about each group below, and our events calendar is a great way of seeing what groups are on and when.

Our Women’s Groups are mental health specific wellbeing groups for Women in West

The groups address issues such as gender inequality and how this impacts mental health; providing support that will enhance education and knowledge around gender inequalities, develop robust self-care systems through the introduction of complementary therapies and activities to enable women to make their own positive choices that would improve their lives.
